The Classical Liberals was born of two childhood friends’ desire to reduce the number of emails they sent back and forth discussing items of note on the interwebs. Rather than clog each other’s inboxes with short notes saying, “what did you think about this?”, we decided it would be easier to write short posts instead.
Richard Cipolla is a law student at Northwestern and previously worked as a solutions consultant for Localytics, a leading provider of enterprise-grade app analytics. He writes on economics, law, and technology start-ups. Richard graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in Philosophy and Economics.
Eoin Power is an analyst at Avascent, in Washington, D.C, and previously worked as a consultant at The Beacon Group, advising Fortune 500 clients in the defense, healthcare, and industrial technology sectors. He writes on U.S. foreign and domestic policy, and South East Europe and the Balkans. Eoin graduated from the University of Michigan with an M.A. in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies, and his M.A. thesis focused on Bosnia’s central bank and financial sector. He received a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy from Middlebury.
